The campground is pet-friendly, welcoming furry companions with designated dog-walking areas. There are recreational opportunities such as hiking trails, swimming pool/hot tub, pickle ball and planned group activities during peak seasons. Guests can take advantage of easy access to fishing spots, guided rafting tours on the Arkansas River, and local dining options just a short drive away. Located near Florence, which designates itself as the antique capitol of Colorado there is plenty of shopping, exploring and history available for everyone.With friendly staff ready to assist and breathtaking sunrises over the Rockies, Royal View is an ideal base for exploring the natural wonders and adventure attractions that Canon City has to offer.
Our adult only RV park, must be over age 35, is located on 50 acres, so trails and wildlife viewing are right here in the campground.
Plan on most summer mornings being sunny but cool, afternoons windy & hot with spectacular western thunder showers prowling the area, and come evening, you'll be putting on a light jacket as you enjoy your campfire and devour the S'Mores.
Pet-friendly: We have two large fenced areas to let the dogs off the leash. We do ask all pet owners to respect our pet policies and restrictions which can be found on our policy page.

We are an Adult Only Park (age 45+). No check-ins or visits with underage guests. Maximum 4 adults per RV site and 6 people total, including visitors. One-night reservations accepted only within 7 days of arrival, based on availability. Short stays under 7 nights qualify for Good Sam discounts; longer stays already include discounts. No after-hour check-ins without prior email approval. Monthly stays available year-round for 2 adults per site, starting at $650 with a 6-month lease, deposit, and background check.
